Customer Advisory – COVID 19 Update: Latin America (Part 1)

As the COVID 19 virus spreads globally, VG电子比分手机版电脑版 is issuing regional advisories to provide a clearer picture of possible impacts and preparations being made. VG电子比分手机版电脑版 offices in Chile, Honduras, and Peru have activated the remote-work option of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
VG电子比分手机版电脑版 offices in the Latin America region have issued these reports:
Peru: Peru has declared a State of Emergency beginning Monday, March 16 th to Tuesday, March 31 st . This includes transit restrictions and the suspension of all passenger flights, so we are anticipating significant air freight delays. Additionally, we are seeing delays in local services (trucking, warehousing, custom brokerage, etc.) since many companies are working with a reduced work force.
Honduras: The Honduras government declared a State of Emergency starting Monday March 16 th to Monday March 23 rd . Border restrictions have been implemented, with the exception of freight transportation.
Chile: The Chilean government is implementing border closures beginning Wednesday, March 18 th , lasting two weeks. All passenger flights are restricted starting March 18 th , break bulk cargo will continue operating via cargo aircraft only.
