Customer Advisory: Egypt Advance Cargo Information (ACI) – Update
With reference to the earlier communication dated June 18, 2021, the implementation of Advance Cargo Information (ACI) declaration has now been extended by 3 months. The regulations are currently scheduled to take effect on October 1, 2021.
Advance Cargo Information (ACI) is a new customs system that requires cargo data and documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bills of Lading and Cargo Manifest) to be submitted at least 48 hours before the vessel departs from the Loading Port.
